Black Saturday Bush Fire Anniversary Events

Sunday 7th Feb 2010

We would like to commend the Murrindindi Shire Council for considering the sensitivities of the Community Recovery Committees (CRC's) responsible for planning their anniversary events. Each CRC required different support from us.

The events designed by the CRC's were as diverse as the communities producing them. A private memorial in Flowerdale, Gourmet Breakfast in Strath Creek, State Telecast and Gourmet Lunch in Toolangi, Combined Churches Service and Community Reflection in Marysville, Private Bereavement Service and Open Community Service in Kinglake.

To be able to have these events realised is a testament to the CRC's commitment to community. We have been honored to work on such amazing events and are humbled to have worked with these communities.
