What a busy start to 2019 it has been! As many of you know we started this year with the introduction of pay-for-service with Google Maps who operate our search function. This caused us some teething problems that have all been rectified and we are enjoying the new services (albeit, not the new charges!).

What I haven’t mentioned so far is that while all of this was going on; I was also bringing into the world a new little human! Nina was born just before Christmas and has been a handful with some health issues to grapple with, but she is starting to turn a corner and I can honestly say I’m starting to see the light!

As it has taken me a while to get into the grove this year, the free period which was offered at Christmas time of an additional 2 months has been extended to 4 months with membership renewals beginning to get sent out in the coming weeks.

I’ll have more news about some of the exciting improvements that 2019 will hold for www.hallsforhire.com.au next month, but for now I wanted to let you all know of the 2019 Season of Festival of Small Halls which will be touring predominately through Queensland and New South Wales at the end of the year.

The Festival of Small Halls is managed by the people who produce the Woodford Folk Festival a very popular music festival. More information here - https://festivalofsmallhalls.com/

If you’re interested in joining the tour later this year, or even just want to chat about what opportunities you might have in the future to host one of these events at your hall, now is the time to get in touch with them smallhalls@woodfordia.com

As always if there are any topics you would like covered in one of our newsletters, please let me know.

Thanks
